We recently spent a day volunteering with the Wilderness Foundation in Great Leighs, helping support their nature-based education and therapy programmes.

The team cleared and prepared a new base using slabs and assembled compostable toilets, contributing to the Foundation’s work in creating safe, sustainable outdoor facilities. Together, they clocked over 100,000 steps during the day, showing fantastic effort and commitment.

The Wilderness Foundation runs a variety of programmes aimed at reconnecting children, teens and adults with nature. Through outdoor adventures, nature-based therapy, and mentoring, participants learn to develop confidence, wellbeing, and a sense of stewardship for wild places.

At TriConnex, we’re proud to support causes like this, helping to make a tangible difference in the community while giving our team the chance to engage in meaningful volunteering.
