Showhouse Magazine ‘Building Change’ - Features TriConnex Chris Doré
Chris Doré, TriConnex Business Development Director, features in Showhouse Magazine’s ‘Building Change’ August feature.
Doré discusses the market pre and post-election, as well as the drive towards net zero and the sustainability targets being electrification. He continues to speak about electrification, “We’ve got this huge positive coming in the first half of next year, which is the fundamental connections reform of the grid. That’s a big structural shift which is going to really clean up the queue of grid connection applications.”

Housebuilder Magazine Sustainability Feature
Our Business Development Director Chris Doré speaks with Chris Windle from Housebuilder Magazine, discussing sustainability as an influential factor in house buying decisions.
Chris speaks about the move away from gas heating which the majority of TriConnex’s clients are now committed to – rolling out heat pumps on their developments.
They go on to discuss the growing grid capacity issues, and how sites are now connecting a tier or two above where they used to: “assessing the capacity to power all these devices in the electric only future is becoming a critical challenge.”
Charity Football Match
Our teams played in an 11-a-side charity football match last Friday, 5th April, at Braintree Town Football Club, to raise money for Mind and Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
Taking on our sister company eSmart Networks, TriConnex managed to secure the win, raising a whopping £3000 for our chosen charities.
It was a brilliant turnout and every player was brilliant. We thank everyone who came along to support the teams, but also thank everyone who donated and joined in with all the different fundraising activities.

TriConnex visit Energy House 2.0 Manchester
Members of our team visited Energy House 2.0 Manchester on Monday with Barratt Group, to see and learn more about the mind blowing housing technology in the pipeline.
Energy House 2.0 is a specially-built climate chamber that recreates temperatures ranging from -20˚C to +40˚C, as well as simulating wind, rain, snow and solar radiation to replicate the climate in 95% of the earth’s environments.
It will research and test new ways of powering heating and insulating homes, whilst cutting water usage. They will inform the sector about achieving a significant reduction in carbon emissions for new build homes from 2025.
The homes feature a range of new technologies, each of which could contribute to lowering the amount of carbon produced when a home is built, and the carbon footprint of the people who live in the home.
It was great for our Business Development team to see Energy House 2.0 in action and experience the future of housing.
