Electricity Networks

Your future electricity networks will also need to be equipped to provide fuel for heat and power for transport.

Competing demands on our UK wide electricity grid means that securing carefully calculated capacities early for your development can significantly reduce the delivery risks and increase your land’s value on strategic and multi-phase sites.

Under our NERS accreditation, we will design and construct an electric solution that works for your development. We will work with adoption partners, using our position as an independent connections provider to find an asset owner that works best for you. You will be supported every step along the journey by our design teams and then by our operations teams once the project nears an on-site start date.

The combined effect on budgets, timescales and design can be confusing with so much conflicting advice available. We have been involved for many years, ensuring that we provide clear, consistent, relevant advice to developers as the market evolves.

FAQs

As the energy transition progresses, we are at the forefront of the industry challenge on redefining standard plot load requirements and working with our asset partners we ensure that we secure the lowest loads possible while allowing future flexibility in heating solutions.

Our focus is 100% new networks on residential developments and so you don’t need to worry that we will get distracted by other competing customers such as commercial or maintenance contracts.

Unfortunately not, we are unable to control or affect the current process and so require our customers to deal with disconnections

The smallest we consider for our new customers is 40 plots and there is no upper limit and we have hundreds of developments in build from 40 to almost 6,000 plots.

We can supply and connect any community, school, retail or other non-residential uses as long as they are part of a primarily residential scheme. Our sister company eSmart Networks specialises in Industrial electrification schemes.

We have always had an amazing internal legals team that will guide you through the process start to finish making sure no-one delays the progress.

Not at all, we manage all of the work and apart from some very minor non-contestable works we design, install and connect in house. As soon as the site is connected, we leave the DNO behind and build the networks for one of our chosen IDNO’s.

Testimonials

TriConnex promised a lot at the beginning, and I was very sceptical. We are now on our eighth project together, and they keep delivering on time and within budget.
